Operations Proposal Leader
The Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) is seeking an experienced Operations Proposal Leader to join our growing Operations team. As a result of significant growth within the Precision Strike Business Area, we are looking for a strategic and systems-minded professional to lead the Operations strategy and on-time execution of proposals and help drive our overall Operations objectives forward via collaboration and innovation. This is a first shift position working a 9 / 80 schedule with every other Friday off!
Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage Operations inputs for proposals across the PGSS portfolio
- Provide guidance and direction to cross-functional teams working on proposal efforts
- Verify resource needs and availability, and provide technical guidance and work scope evaluation of proposal spec packages
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to support make / buy and strategic decision making
- Develop compliance matrices to ensure timely completion of proposals adhering to external and internal deliverable due dates
- Support Cost Volume Leads in development of estimates and ROS %
- Work cross-functionally to overcome barriers to accuracy, timeliness, and quality of the proposal
- Liaise with Operations and Programs Management to develop clear and concise technical and execution strategies
- Lead kickoff meetings to discuss strategy for pricing, execution, and technical work

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in Operations or EngineeringMust be able to obtain a Secret ClearanceProven track record of successfully launching products on time, within budget, and to customer requirementsStrong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and control budgetsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risksExperience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and processesPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills :
