You will engage in modernizing systems, integrating innovative technologies, and automating processes to enhance mission capabilities. Your role will involve tackling diverse challenges, from expanding geolocation systems to optimizing performance across various operational environments, all while contributing to critical national defense efforts. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members in a high-performing, fast-paced CI / CD environment.
• Develop back-end services using Python.
• Write web user interfaces using modern JavaScript, HTML, and / or Java.
• Work with Active MQ, REST APIs, NoSQL databases, and / or elastic databases.
• Validate capabilities against requirements, write test cases, and execute tests while capturing results.
• Use Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA & Confluence) to track and maintain requirements.
• Develop software in a Linux environment.
• Participate in an agile, DevOps team to design and implement software solutions.
• Analyze existing products to identify enhancements using Python.
• Perform development, integration, testing, validation, deployment, maintenance, and Tier 3 support for operational software.

Requirements

• Proficiency in back-end development with Python.
• Experience writing web user interfaces using modern JavaScript, HTML, or Java.
• Familiarity with Active MQ, REST APIs, NoSQL databases, and / or elastic databases.
• Ability to validate capabilities against requirements and write / execute test cases.
• Experience working with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA & Confluence).
• Comfortable developing in a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and agile software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills for designing and implementing software solutions that integrate with core services.

Desired Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) or elastic search technologies.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with message brokers like Active MQ or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Agile coaching or experience with DevOps practices beyond basic CI / CD.
• Experience working on large-scale data processing systems.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for software solutions.
