Serve as an accounting and financial reporting analyst for Health and Well-Being department and the programs that fall under this portfolio.

As a member of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for a broad range of financial and accounting duties, including :

• Master the University's financial systems and manage departmental accounts
• Serve as a resource to departmental staff regarding budgets and accounting
• Record or approve financial transactions
• Prepare financial reports from multiple data sources
• Prepare and monitor budgets, manage account balances, and maintain account structures and coding schemes.
• Assist with business contracting
• Provide support to the Finance Director as assigned
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, or related field

Five (5) years experience in finance or accounting.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Experience with data management

Experience with financial reporting

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication skills to serve as a resource for staff on budget and accounting issues.

Familiarity with university financial systems (accounting, purchasing, payroll, etc.) and cost center coding

Experience with VBA in Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft OneDrive, PowerBI, Box

Interest in applying artificial intelligence to financial reporting

$50,000 + depending on qualifications

100% on-site. Works around general office equipment, repetitive motion with keyboard, some bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, anything over with assistance.
