Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU setting.

The nurse will provide comprehensive care for critically ill pediatric patients.

Patient ratios are typically 1 RN to 1-2 patients in the PICU and 1 RN to 2-3 patients in the stepdown area.

The unit operates with support from healthcare unit coordinators and shared tech availability.

Equipment includes Alaris pumps and a documentation system utilizing Cerner.

Staff are required to work 3 weekends within a 6-week schedule.

Floating to pediatrics and neonatal intensive care unit may be required as necessary.

The PICU performs essential procedures including IV starts, central line dressing changes, and ventilator management.

All staff must adhere to the uniform policy, wearing navy blue or white attire.
