Senior Auditor – Growing CPA Firm (Path to Manager!)

Location : Fresno, CA

Full-Time | $100,000–$140,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits

Why This Role Is Unique

Under AICPA SSARS standards , non-public entity for-profit and non-profit audit engagements , as well as annual reviews, compilations, preparatory financial statements, and personal financial statements are performed.

N ew audit engagements and several annual reviews and compilations are creating opportunities within this talented team. You’ll have the opportunity to independently lead multiple engagements while collaborating directly with the Audit Partner . Two motivated junior auditors will support you on your projects.

What You’ll Do

Independently lead audit, review, and compilation engagements under AICPA SSARS standards.

Supervise and mentor two junior auditors, providing clear guidance and review.

Partner directly with an Audit Partner to manage complex client engagements.

Deliver high-quality financial reporting for non-public entities, nonprofits, and individuals.

Strengthen client relationships and serve as a trusted resource for business and financial insight.

Contribute to continuous improvement in audit processes and firm best practices.

What We’re Looking For

CPA license (required)

4–5+ years of recent public accounting experience focused on audit

Experience performing non-public audits, reviews, and compilations under AICPA SSARS standards

Proven ability to independently lead engagements and oversee junior staff

Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS , and relevant reporting requirements

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

A proactive, team-oriented professional motivated to advance into management
