[job_card.job_description]Work Schedule : Full-time. Day and Night shifts available. Every other weekend and some holidays are required. Professional Growth : Gain invaluable experience in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive Level I / II Trauma Center environment. Impactful Work : Contribute to a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes and providing exceptional care to children and their families. Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients, administer medications, and treatments. Monitor patient conditions, develop and implement patient care plans, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. Educate patients and families, and maintain accurate electronic health records. Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Licensure : Current New York State RN License and BLS Certification (must be current or able to recertify). Experience : Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care RN experience (within the past 2 years) in a facility of similar size and level. Strong pediatric inpatient experience is strongly preferred. Travelers considered only if experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers. Technical Skills : Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred. Soft Skills : Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-stakes, team-oriented environment. Competitive Compensation : Earn a strong hourly rate of $64 / hr.
