Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Assembler I - Battery Line - 1st Shift to join our team. The hourly rate for this position is $18.50 per hour. The core hours are 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. • Please note : This site will be moving to our new location in Youngsville, NC in the summer of 2026, which is approximately 25 minutes from our current site.

What You'll Do :

The Assembler I will build sub-assemblies and assemblies involving complex and repetitive wiring for battery cabinets that support Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS). In this function you will :

Qualifications :

Required (Basic) Qualifications : Minimum of One (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred Qualifications : Previous experience with standard operating procedures. Previous experience with product electrical assembly, maintenance and / or repair. Previous experience using forklifts or material handling equipment.

Position Criteria :

Basic working knowledge and experience with computers. Basic working knowledge of SAP. Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility. Ability to use power industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc). Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures. Ability to work daily and / or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to distinguish colored wiring. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
