Brown Neurology is seeking a flexible and experienced Medical Assistant / Medical Receptionist to join their Providence team. This position will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. This position will be responsible for interacting with patients and physicians daily, therefore interested candidates must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant :

• Managing patient flow, including greeting, checking in / outpatients for their visit
• Prepares examination rooms and maintains daily cleaning list.
• Obtaining and recording vital signs
• Ensure all related reports, labs and information are available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment.
• Orders post visit Lab and testing.
• Handles patient care plans, charts, tests, and examination results in the medical record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assists physicians as needed
• Upholds Brown Neurology’s customer service standards
