Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner

• Specialty: Trauma/Critical Care NP/PA

• Providers needed: 2 NPs or PAs

• Reason for need: PARTIAL PARENTAL (maternity) LEAVE COVERAGE

• Target Start Date: 8/6 (all creds documentation would need to be returned by 8/4 to make this work). Provider would need to go through orientation

• The goal would be to start by 8/6 with temporary privileges. However, there is a chance that the creds could take 30-45 days to complete.

• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off 7a 5p

• Job Details:

• Busy service line
• Patients per day: 7 10
• Never without a surgeon and there are 1-2 other APP providers as well for support
• No call is expected
• WA state-licensed only
• WA DEA
• No procedures or assisting in surgery is required. They will simply be rounding on trauma/critical care patients. Physicians perform procedures
• Rounding and assessing in ER rounding on patients in the morning, helping with discharge plans, etc
• 2 3 years of Acute care / trauma team experience is ideal. The provider needs to be comfortable and able to hit the ground running in a fast paced environment
• Team interviews with the surgeons in the practice
• Travel costs are billable but capped.
