NEW Laboratory Manager Needed in Poughkeepsie New York

NEW Permanent Laboratory Manager Clinical & Pathology Services

Salary : $90,000 $130,000 / year

A well-established medical group in New York is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations of both clinical and pathology labs across multiple sites. This role combines leadership, compliance oversight, and hands-on bench work (%).

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise lab staff, scheduling, evaluations, and PTO approvals

Ensure compliance with NYSDOH, CLEP, CAP, and other regulatory agencies

Oversee LIS / EMR interfaces, equipment maintenance, and lab licensing

Lead QA / QC processes, audits, and new test implementation

Perform bench work in microbiology, cytology, urine FISH, and more

Requirements :

Current NYS Medical Technologist License

8 10 years clinical / AP lab experience

2 4 years in lab management

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
