Position Summary : The Collections AR Specialist calls for maintaining accounts receivable records and resolving credit issues.

What you'll do :

• Under the direction of the Corporate Credit Manager, manages a portfolio of assigned accounts focusing on past dues.
• Contacts past due customers via phone and email daily.
• Resolves Billing and disputes with the customer and Sales.
• Negotiates payment plans as needed.
• Communicates changes to customers' information from both internal and external sources.
• Ensures the accuracy and alignment of terms, credit limits and data within their designated portfolio.
• Obtains and emails requested POD's, customer Credit Memo(s) and statements.
• Reconciles customer accounts where discrepancies are noted.
• Responds to inquiries received via phone and email.
• Assists the cash applications team for proper application of customer payment(s).
• Assists with special projects as required.
• Provide weekly reporting to Corporate Credit Manager.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
