Delivery Driver Job Opportunity

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

Successfully handle and deliver packages on time

Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicle

Step-van driving and DOT training is not required and is optionally offered for good performing delivery drivers

Follow all local & state laws, road / driving regulations, and company policies

Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions

Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed

Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations

Use smart phone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in / out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members

Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle

Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Scheduling :

$22.5 / hour for DOT step van drivers and $22.25 / hour for Van drivers

Only day-shift, starts 9 : 45 a.m. exactly every day

10-hour Day shifts are typical; 40 hours is typical.

Guaranteed Hours for qualified Delivery Drivers

Full Time or Part Time, and Seasonal Delivery driver job range 8-12 weeks, can be extended according to business needs.

Qualifications : Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years old

Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license

Authorized to work in the United States

Must have a clean motor vehicle record.

Must have good English speaking, reading, writing and communication skills.
