Junior Healthcare Auditor

A company is looking for a Junior Healthcare Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

Independently evaluates and documents findings from travel records and medical claims related to fraud, waste, and abuse with supervision

Completes medical record reviews using knowledge of medical procedures and coding guidelines as assigned

Prepares audit documentation and participates in audit team planning sessions and post-audit reviews

Required Qualifications

Must be eligible to obtain a Veterans Affairs Public Trust Clearance (NACI background investigation)

1 year of relevant clinical or healthcare auditing experience, including clinical documentation and coding

Healthcare auditing, regulatory compliance, or a similar combination of education and experience will be considered

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision in a demanding environment
