Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and laboratory findings
• Work alongside surgeons to create and implement patient-specific surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, securing patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
