Full Time Ongoing Radiation Oncologist Locums Job in Iowa

Schedule :

  • Schedule : 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM with 30 minutes for lunch - 8 hours per day
  • No call
  • Schedule Requirements : Facility is looking for FULL TIME coverage only. Provider must be available to work 4 week stretches at a time. Provider can take some time off in between 4 week stretches, but cannot take time off within the 4-week block.

Details :

  • Number of Physicians in Practice : 1
  • No other Radiation Oncologists present during Locum Tenens coverage
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT (Clinic / Office) : 20-25 on treatment with weekly treatment visits, follow-ups and consults
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT (Call / Rounding) : 0-1
  • Trauma Level 2
  • Adult patients
  • EMR : Aria

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified
  • Active Iowa license or IMLC(not accepting candidates who need to obtain IMLC or IA license)
  • COVID Vaccine
  • Must be able to start ASAP upon credentialing (Facility can offer temp privs which is approximately 30-60 days)
  • MUST be available to offer coverage for 4 week stretches at a time
  • Aria documentation - HIGHLY PREFFERED.
  • Local / within driving distance - HIGHLY PREFERRED

  • 3D Radiotherapy
  • External Beam Radiation - IMRT
  • External Beam Radiation - IGRT
  • External Beam Radiation - 3D-CRT
  • Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery
  • Photon Beam Radiation Therapy
  • Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
