Speech Language Pathologist

AB Staffing is looking for experienced  Speech Language Pathologists (SLP)  for the upcoming  2025 / 2026 school year.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description :

Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School

  • Caseload and details of position / classroom type will differ based on school location
  • Contract through the 2025 / 2026 school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week
  • Contract follows the academic district calendar

Pay :

  • $2,700 – $3,187.50 per week DOE

    • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
  • National and state certifications : ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services.
  • Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
  • Experience in a school and / or pediatric setting preferred.

    • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Overview :  Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

    Essential Functions :

  • Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
  • Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
  • Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
  • Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
  • Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
