Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of psychiatry residency; fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry preferredBoard certified or board eligible in PsychiatryValid Georgia medical license and DEA registrationExperience working in community health or underserved populations preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual (English / Spanish) a plusResponsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plansProvide medication management and psychotherapy as appropriateCollaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and case managersParticipate in care coordination and team meetingsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMRProvide crisis intervention and support as neededStay current with best practices in psychiatry and FQHC compliance standards.
