Position Overview :

Woolpert is hiring an Engineer in Trainingto join our dynamic Aviation team at our Indianapolis INoffice. This position is primarily responsible for performing engineering functions specific to aviation / airfield design under the direction of a Professional Engineer.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What you will do :

• Perform engineering computations conducts evaluations design analyses and design development.
• Prepare reports recommendations and opinions for approval by a supervising Professional Engineer.
• Apply standard engineering practices and techniques to adjust and correlate data; recognizes and resolves discrepancies in results and follows operations through a series of related steps or processes.
• Work as a member of a project team in the development of data and / or applications.
• Use AutoDesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD to develop engineering and design documents.
• Participate in firm-wide quality initiatives.
• May serve as a field engineer during construction of a project.
• Provide daily support to engineering projects through contact with and advice from engineers on the team.
• Create documents from foundational material relative to a project that provides underlying support for decisions made by engineers on the team.
• Apply prescribed techniques and procedures based on standardized and established criteria that result in tasks required by the specifications of the project.
• Use knowledge gained as the basis for adding responsibilities over time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$65800 - $98800 USD
