Quality Assurance Inspector

JOB TITLE:
Quality Assurance-
Inspection & Release Oversight
Location: North Kansas City Schedule: VERY Flexible Hours
Hourly Pay: $25 Term: Part Time

Role and Responsibilities:

•Perform AQL inspection of Third Party Finished Product received.
-Ensure all products meet the required Quality levels prior to final release
-Respond to identified product non-conformances, as required
-Coordinate activities with multiple departments to meet site and company priorities

•Perform Finished Product Release activities for material
-Perform physical labeling of material when needed
-Serve as backup to Product Disposition Agents on an as needed basis

•Ensure physical inventory is located
-Perform Release labeling upon approval by QA Release Agents of all required documentation

-Perform physical identification of Hold, Reject, etc. material as required

•Monitor warehouse facility to ensure Finished Product is stored per applicable product specifications.
-Assist with oversight of material storage

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to read, hear, talk, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
Must be able to stand, bend, and/or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift.
Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months.
Noise level is moderate to loud.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•Clean Background
•Drug Screen
•Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
•Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math.
•A positive attitude and strong work ethic
•Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team.
•A minimum of 4-8 years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in a QA role and related experience.
•Total number of years' experience required to fulfill the role: 4-8 years
•Good interpersonal and communication skills
•High school diploma or GED
