About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Psychiatry MD in Michigan!

Setting : Adult Inpatient Psychiatry | Schedule : M–F, 8 AM–5 PM

Call : 1 : 4 Weekend Rotation | Academic Affiliation | Teaching Opportunities Available

Join a mission-driven behavioral health team providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care in a dedicated inpatient unit. This full-time position offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, consistent hours, academic involvement, and excellent compensation and benefits.

🩺 Position Highlights :

Provide psychiatric care for adult inpatients in a dedicated behavioral health unit

Complete psychiatric evaluations, manage medication and treatment plans

Collaborate with a full support team : APPs, RNs, social workers, case managers, and other specialists

Work Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (with built-in scheduling flexibility)

Weekend call rotation : 1 : 4

Optional extra shifts available for additional compensation

Opportunity to teach residents, fellows, and medical students

Optional participation in research, outpatient, or leadership roles based on your interests

✅ Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

(Must become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming eligible – no exceptions)

Michigan medical license (active or in progress for hire) – Required

DEA license – Required

BLS certification – Required and must be maintained

Open to new graduates and experienced psychiatrists
