Perspire Sauna Studio is a leading infrared sauna and red light therapy studio dedicated to helping our guests feel better, look better, and live better from the inside out. Our mission is to create a welcoming, consistent, and transformative wellness experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Manager to help lead our Falls Church studio team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, sales-driven, and passionate about wellness.

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager supports the Studio Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving membership sales, ensuring exceptional guest experience, and developing staff. This role requires leadership, initiative, and a hands-on approach to maintaining Perspires high standards of performance and profitability.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Assist the Studio Manager in leading, motivating, and training the team to meet sales, service, and operational goals.
  • Lead team huddles, coach staff on sales and guest interactions, and ensure consistent execution of policies and brand standards.
  • Support with scheduling and monitor shift coverage to maintain adequate studio staffing levels.
  • Address staff performance issues promptly and professionally; escalate or document issues as needed.

    • Sales & Guest Experience

  • Model and coach the Perspire sales process from lead greeting to closing the sale.
  • Consistently achieve personal and team sales goals, including membership conversions, package sales, and retail sales.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and effectively communicate the benefits of infrared sauna and red light therapy.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience through warmth, professionalism, and service consistency.

    • Studio Operations

  • Oversee daily opening and closing procedures to ensure studio cleanliness, organization, and readiness for guests.
  • Monitor studio supplies and inventory; ensure retail and operational stock are maintained.
  • Ensure all new members are properly checked out and enrolled with correct discount codes to prevent revenue loss.
  • Support with payroll, scheduling, and reporting as directed by the Studio Manager.
  • Uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards in accordance with company policies.

    • Qualifications

  • Management or leadership experience preferred (wellness, fitness, spa, or hospitality preferred).
  • Proven experience in retail or membership-based sales.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and solve problems independently.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and professional demeanor with a passion for health and wellness.
  • Availability to work a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts.
