Clinic Nurse

LPN Pay: $40-45/hour
RN Pay: $50-55/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9AM-5PM, occasionally 9:30AM-5:30PM

Requirements:

• 1+ year of nursing experience
• 1+ years of Pediatric experience
• Comfortable working in OB/Peds departments
• Active New York State RN or LPN License
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school/program
• BLS Certification
• Strong vaccination experience required
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• EMR experience – practice uses Athena
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Review medical charts
• Assist physicians and other providers with exams and treatments
• Provide wound care
• Administer medications
• Plan and manage patient care according to each patient’s needs
• Obtain patient vital signs including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration
• Prepare and administer injections
• Prepare and administer enemas
• Perform phlebotomy
• Provider patient and family teaching and discharge instructions
