Architectural Technical Writer

An outstanding, full-time position has become available in the Pittsburg, PA area for an individual with 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Writer with a background in Detailed Architectural Specifications for bidding various Commercial Construction project types. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, Life insurance, a 401K, profit sharing, PTO, and other outstanding perks.

Required work experience includes:

• 5+ years of experience in producing detailed Architectural Specifications is a MUST
• Bachelor degree in Architecture is a MUST
• Proficiency in Producing Detailed Project Manuals, Procurement and Contracting Requirements, and (PA) Building Codes is a MUST
• Proficiency in Revit is a BIG PLUS
• Experience with LEED, Green Buildings, or Sustainable Design is a BIG PLUS
• Experience with Historic Buildings/Sites or Higher Education is a BIG PLUS
• Licensed Architect or Currently Pursuing Licensure is a BIG PLUS
• Construction Document Technology (CDT) or Certified Construction Specifier (CCS) Certification by the CSI is a BIG PLUS
