divh2Electrical Construction Estimator / h2pThe Electrical Construction Estimator reports directly to the Senior Project Manager or Project Manager. Responsibilities are focused on cost estimates, and material and labor requirements estimates to complete a project. / ph2Essential Duties Responsibilities / h2pEssential Job Functions : / pulliDevelops cost estimates from take-off stage to bid hand-off. / liliAble to work with ConEst Estimating Software / liliDevelops cost estimates for change orders. / liliAnalyzes material and labor requirements to complete a project. / liliAttends pre-bid and scope review meetings. / liliComputes and submits bids. / liliReading thoroughly understanding blueprints. / liliMeets with engineers, customers, vendors, and Project Managers. / liliVisually inspects project locations to determine the amount of labor and materials needed to do the work. / liliContacts vendors for pricing. / liliAssesses the costs of leasing equipment. / liliMaintains the change order submissions / documents in an organized and standardized manner. Works with the project team to develop this standard. / liliAnalyzes material and labor requirements to complete a project. / liliAttends pre-bid and scope review meetings. / liliOther duties as assigned. / li / ulh2Qualifications / h2pQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Competencies : / pulliKnowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems. / liliAbility to read and evaluate specifications and blueprints. / liliAbility to deal effectively with customers. / liliAbility to analyze risks involved with certain project types. / liliAbility to estimate large and small projects. / liliAbility to work calmly under deadlines and external pressure. / liliExcellent math skills. / liliStrong communication skills. / liliStrong computer skills- Specifically in Google Suite Applications. / liliApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
