Apprehending undocumented individuals and smugglers through advanced surveillance operations. Conducting border patrols and monitoring waterways using various government vehicles. Performing thorough inspections at checkpoints. Employing technical equipment for monitoring and surveillance activities. One year of general work experience showcasing decision-making and problem-solving skills. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. A combination of relevant work experience and education. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must meet residency requirements. Must be under the age of 40 at the time of selection unless exempt due to previous service. Must successfully complete a six-month training program at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico.
