Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tractor Mowing Operator to join our team in Springfield, IL, 62703. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the landscape and ensuring that our outdoor spaces are kept in pristine condition. If you have a passion for working outdoors and possess the necessary skills to operate large mowing equipment safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Operate tractor-mounted mowers to maintain grass and vegetation in designated areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance on mowing equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting for safety.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery.
  • Monitor and report any issues with equipment or landscape conditions to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of landscaping projects as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve landscaping goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience operating tractors and other mowing equipment (large zero-turn mowers.
  • Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
