Your Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing tailored treatment plans
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health issues either collaboratively with physicians or independently, adhering to your credentialing
  • Guiding patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and effective management strategies
  • Prescribing necessary medications and therapies as per your scope of practice
  • Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and maintaining chronic care programs
  • Working alongside interdisciplinary teams for coordinated, comprehensive patient care
  • Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical record systems (EMR)
Required Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to obtain within 90 days)
