High School Business Teacher

Savannah R-III School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated High School Education Teacher to join our instructional team. The successful candidate will provide engaging, standards-based instruction that supports student academic growth, social development, and college/career readiness in a positive learning environment. This position is for the 2026-27 school year.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver effective instruction aligned with Missouri Learning Standards

• Develop lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities

• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback

• Maintain accurate student records and documentation

• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff

• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians

• Participate in professional development and school activities

• Perform other duties as assigned by administration

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri teaching certificate in the specified subject area and grade level

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families

• Commitment to student success and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience teaching at the secondary level

• Ability to integrate technology into instruction

• Experience with differentiated instruction and data-driven teaching
