Structural Engineer - Commercial Construction

A local general contractor is looking to add a dynamite structural engineer to their team. This is due to ongoing growth within the company....

• Experience (looking for 10+ years) as a Structural Engineer for commercial construction projects which include estimating structural components
• Comprehension of construction processes, including familiarity with construction materials and estimating quantities
• Experience with estimating software preferred
• Ability to read site plans and develop cost estimates efficiently
• Works well in a team environment and possesses excellent communication skills
• Organized, self-motivated, fast learner, able to multitask and meet deadlines
• Communicate effectively with the sub-contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project
• Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the estimation team, management team, sub-contractors, and laborers
• Keep a positive attitude & set an example as a leader that all crew members enjoy working with

Compensation

$80,000 - 100,000 per year
