VP of Finance (New York)

Our client, a leading CPG brand is seeking a highly experienced and motivated VP of Finance to oversee all financial operations and support ongoing growth. This senior leadership role includes responsibility for FP&A, accounting, reporting, and business partnership. The ideal candidate has a strong background in consumer packaged goods, experience in a public company environment, and a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals and provide strategic guidance to the leadership team for informed decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities to inform financial decisions.
• Lead financial modeling, performance analysis, and reporting.
• Improve FP&A tools and processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze product and channel profitability, pricing, and promotions.
• Support supply chain cost management and inventory planning.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and public company reporting standards.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting in compliance with SEC and SOX regulations.
• Manage internal controls and coordinate with external auditors. support consolidated reporting and audit processes.
• Build and manage a high-performing finance team that promotes a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
• Act as financial liaison with parent company and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

Salary : Up to $350,000 base, commensurate with experience
