The designer will primarily work on the HEOS and Bowers & Wilkins Music apps with additional contributions to Denon & Marantz AVR apps Headphone apps and Bluetooth speaker apps. With your deep design expertise you will own the visual identity of our mobile products ensuring that every interface is engaging consistent and aligned with both brand and platform ideal candidate will also create rapid click-through or high-definition prototyping support for testing concepts and to present ideas to stakeholders. They will work independently within defined objectives and ensure timely delivery of all graphical assets to engineering teams during pre-development and production You Will DoLead the visual design process for mobile apps from initial concept to developer and maintain design systems style guides icon libraries and other visual high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas designs meet platform-specific guidelines (Apple Human Interface Guidelines Google Material Design).Collaborate closely with UX designers product managers and junior designers and provide design feedback to maintain quality across the design reviews and advocate for best practices in mobile visual up to date on emerging design trends prototyping techniques and mobile UI You Need to Be Successful7 years of professional experience designing consumer iOS and Android track record of delivering world-class mobile UI designs for a global user proficiency in Figma for design wireframing and proficiency in ProtoPie and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator Photoshop After Effects).Experience designing illustrated assets such as iconography and device understanding of typography layout principles and interaction creating and managing design systems at communication skills and ability to present design rationale to with audio products or connected devices is a Points if You Have Experience designing mobile apps that connect to networked creating Lottie animations using Bodymovin and After using Blender or other 3D of accessibility guidelines for mobile with front-end implementation constraints of iOS and Android platforms and progressive web coding with JavaScript or using tools like Cursor CoPilot or other AI coding tools to create mobile native or web Makes You EligibleWillingness to work remotely in hybrid setting with commute to Carlsbad CA completion of a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employmentWhat We Offer Flexible work environment allowing for full-time remote work globally for positions that can be performed outside a HARMAN or customer locationAccess to employee discounts on world-class products (JBL HARMAN Kardon AKG and more)Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN UniversityCompetitive wellness benefitsTuition reimbursementBe Brilliant employee recognition and rewards programAn inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development
