Join a mission-driven health system committed to excellence in medical education and patient care. Health First is seeking experienced and passionate physician-educators to serve as  Program Directors  for the following ACGME-accredited residency programs :

  • General Surgery
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Internal Medicine
  • Transitional Year

Each Program Director will lead their respective residency program, ensuring excellence in education, clinical training, and compliance with ACGME standards.

    • General Requirements (All Positions) :

  • Board Certification  in the relevant specialty by the appropriate certifying board (e.g., ABS, ABEM, ABOG, ABIM).
  • Minimum of three years  of documented educational and / or administrative experience in graduate medical education.
  • Demonstrated scholarly activity  aligned with the program’s mission.
  • Active Florida Medical License
  • Familiarity with GME online and reporting systems  including NRMP or SF Match, ERAS, AMA, Freida, GMETrack, ABOS, etc.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience as a Program Director, Associate Program Director, or core faculty.
  • Experience in curriculum development, resident evaluation, and faculty development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
