About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Austin Major Group to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Pennsylvania!

We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician to join our team in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to oncology patients, supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and participate in a 1 : 3 on-call rotation.

Position Details :

  • Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
  • Call Requirement : 1 : 3 weekly call rotation, 30-minute response time

Patient Volume :

  • Clinic : 15 outpatients / day + APP supervision
  • New Patients : 2 per day
  • Encounter Duration : 60 minutes for new patients, 30 minutes for follow-ups
  • Inpatient Admissions While On Call : ~2.5 per day
  • EMR : Aria & Cerner
  • Privileges Available : Full Privileges

    • Candidate Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Required in Medical Oncology and / or Hematology / Oncology
  • Licensure : Active Pennsylvania license preferred (will consider candidates with IMLC)
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year required (fellows considered)
  • DEA & CSR License : Required
