Experience with shipping, receiving, picking, and packing orders, including knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and USPS processes. Basic computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be punctual, reliable, and responsible. Experience with Lean or Operational Excellence (improvement-focused) is a plus.
Warehouse Lead
A well-established air gun company in Rancho Santa Margarita is looking for a Warehouse Lead. This is a temp-to-hire position, paying $26 to $30 / hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth. Full training on the air gun business will be provided. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, team-focused professional with a strong understanding of warehouse logistics and the importance of accurate data.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and track all inventory using an ERP system, maintaining precise records of both in-house and ordered stock.
- Ensure accurate communication between the local distributor and international manufacturer.
- Conduct shipping and receiving operations, including checking goods against purchase orders or invoices and updating the computer system with all activity.
- Proactively maintain optimal inventory levels and manage product stored in the warehouse to ensure accuracy.
- Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying accuracy and recording any discrepancies or damages.
- Move stock throughout the warehouse using a dolly, pallet jack, and forklifts.
- Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities, and handle escalated customer service issues and returns.
- Lead departmental planning and forecasting efforts.
