Rx Processor

Starting Pay Rate : $15.75 / hr

Schedule : Monday - Friday Hours : 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm

Mandatory overtime is determined by business needs and may require additional hours during the regular schedule, as well as availability on weekends.

Dress Code : Casual attire is acceptable but must be within company guidelines. Closed toed shoes are required.

Position Summary : Under direct supervision, an Rx Processor in warehouse operations is responsible for processing returned / recalled consumer products or pharmaceuticals on behalf of a retailer or manufacturer. The Rx Processor position requires high attention to detail and ability to operate technology such as barcode scanners, digital scales, software applications, and touch screen computers and the ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures specific to this position.

Primary Accountabilities :

• Efficiently and accurately capture product codes (bar codes) or other information, using scanning equipment, for input of information into computerized systems
• For pharmaceutical products, visually identify and verify key product information, then count, measure or weigh the item and enter information into computerized systems
• Sort scanned product items into appropriate container locations
• Inspect condition of product and prepare for disposition in accordance with client contract terms
• Always maintain a clean and orderly workstation and area

Incremental pay increase are provided at 3 months and 12 months of employment. This is a non-exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state laws.
