The TPO Loan Coordinator assists and supports the FBMS (Flat Branch Mortgage Services) partners with initial disclosures and processing loan files as they move through Underwriting for approval to close. The position is responsible for preparing initial disclosures and obtaining necessary information from the FBMS partners to process a complete mortgage loan file. (i.e. credit, income, assets, appraisal, etc.). The Loan Coordinator must offer and develop a timely and efficient workflow and prioritize every aspect of the registration and submission process. They will review all documentation for accuracy and completeness and ensure all documents are prepared and finalized in compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze documentation to prepare and provide initial disclosures / re-disclosures to the partners in a timely manner.
- Order any items necessary for loan processing.
- Review and analyze all loan documentation regarding employment, credit, income, assets and collateral to prepare loans for underwriting.
- Ensure accuracy of third-party documentation including VOEs, title, appraisal, transcripts and payoffs.
- Monitor the registered and submitted pipelines in Encompass and request information as needed.
- Assist partners with questions in regard to processes and procedures, TPO Connect, and running AUS and GUS upon request from the partners.
- Effectively manage a pipeline of up to 15 loan files ensuring we meet closing dates.
- Communicate with FBMS Partners on loan statuses and request any trailing documentation required to complete the mortgage loan process.
- Provide excellent customer service to our FBMS Partners.
- Work with all FBMS team members to ensure the mortgage loan moves seamlessly through every stage, from underwriting submittal to closing.
- Assists in training new hires for this position.
- Accepts all other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Qualifications & Skills :
Experience in the mortgage industry, processing experience is preferred.Familiar with the mortgage loan process and required documentation.Excellent customer service skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for a paperless environment.Adaptable to change and shifts in priority.High attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.Knowledge of Encompass LOS recommended but not a requirement.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
