In this position...

GME (Global Manufacturing Engineering) is a cross-functional team having the primary responsibility to plan for and implement the launch of new engine programs at assembly plants and new powertrain and battery cell and assemblies at component plants. The Manufacturing Engineer candidate will be a part of this team.

You'll have...

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field of study.
• Min of 5 years of experience in Automotive Assembly preferably Cylinder head Assembly.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing assembly processes.
• Solid experience and knowledge in:Basic Engine functionVarious assembly processes including cup plugs and ball plugs pressing into cylinder heads, valve seal install, valve key-up, fastening, and error-proofing.Assembly equipment including feeders, conveyors, robots, vision system, fastening, testing and assembly tooling. Auto Cad, Teamcenter, E2KS, GSPAS, MIDAS, GI, and other PLM-related toolsQOS, PFMEA, DCP, FIS, One Spot, Ariba Purchasing System, and other LRCA elements.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to a dynamic working environment and diverse team.
• Willing/able to travel domestically and internationally.
• Proven record of functioning in a plant environment, including the ability to work with plant management to implement new programs with minimal disruption to the plant’s performance.
