Job Description

What you will be doing : Radiology Technologist

Perform imaging examinations according to physicians' orders.

Utilize a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment.

Consider individual patient's unique and / or age-related needs.

Use clinical knowledge and judgment regarding proper positioning factors.

Calibrate radiation dose technique and patient treatment to produce optimal high-quality images.

Ensure all examinations are conducted with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.

Experience you will need : Radiology Technologist

Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.

Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.

National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.

National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

New graduates must have an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
