Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a resource classroom setting for the academic year 2025-2026. This contract position focuses on providing tailored instruction to a small group of 12 students in grades 3 through 5, ensuring they receive the support necessary to thrive academically and socially.

- Location : Bishopville, SC (onsite only)
- Grade Levels : Primarily 3rd to 5th grade
- Classroom Setting : Resource classroom with 12 students
- Student Profile : Includes one semi self-contained student with high-functioning autism who is verbal; no significant behavioral challenges
- Schedule : 37.5 hours per week
- Contract Type : School year (CSY) duration
Qualifications and Desired Experience :
Valid Special Education certification (LD certification or Multi-Categorical preferred)Experience working in resource classrooms and supporting elementary-aged studentsAbility to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to diverse learner needsStrong munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staffPatience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward inclusive education practicesResponsibilities :
