TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Traffic Clerk in the Pasadena TX 77504

Public Job Description :

POSITION : Traffic Clerk

LOCATION : Pasadena TX 77504

PAYRATE : $18 per hour

SHIFT : 7AM-3 : 30 PM

TRAFFIC CLERK TASK :

• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping / receiving documents are completed accurately and timely
• Notify carriers and key team members of pending no shows and / or unscheduled arrivals
• Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary
• Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler
• Basic math skills may be required
• Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers. English required
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Abilityto work a flexible work schedule and shift including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels at times can be loud
• Able to multitask in functions that require emailing heavy phone communication as well as handoffs with w / h and office.
