SMT Programmer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional responsible for programming and troubleshooting all equipment in an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly line to meet customer specifications and requirements. Responsibilities

• Program various equipment, including SMT Pick & Place (ASM), GKG/ASM Printer, Koh-young SPI, Koh-Young AOI, X-RAY inspection, Universal Fuzion XC PTH Inserter, and related Through Hole prep and inspection equipment.
• Conduct SMT first piece runs and program debugging, including programming, screen print stencil development, paste inspection, SMT placement, reflow, and equipment/material qualifications.
• Develop and program THT first piece runs and processes through hand-load, wave, and selective solder.
• Coordinate with planning daily and execute job optimization in Si-place explorer for optimal machine setup and programming sequences to maximize efficiency.
• Act as a technical resource for daily manufacturing execution by responding promptly to line-machine requests from A-Techs, providing solutions, or engaging external resources for additional support.
• Actively participate in associated new project's PFMEAs and New Product Introduction.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in an engineering field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of - years of experience in printed circuit board assembly processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Ability to work long hours on your feet.
