PHP Developer (Full-Stack) – Chicago-Based REMOTE

We’re on the hunt for a PHP Developer who knows their way around modern web stacks and loves building clean, scalable apps. You’ll be working closely with product teams to design, develop, and maintain software systems that actually make an impact. This role is fully remote, but you’ll need to be based in Chicago or surrounding suburbs—occasional onsite meetups (a few times a month) keep the collaboration sharp.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect and build secure, scalable web applications using modern design principles.
• Keep an eye on performance—monitor, optimize, and spot opportunities for improvement before they become bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm new features and enhancements that users will love.
• Share best practices for automated testing, CI/CD, and code reliability—because shipping solid code matters.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Deep expertise in PHP (we’re big on the Symfony framework).
• Solid JavaScript chops—bonus points if you’ve worked with .
• Strong database skills (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization? That’s a huge plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines—you know how to automate the boring stuff.
• A confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can roll with changing priorities.
