About the Role

Salesforce is in pursuit of a highly energetic and dedicated Senior Manager, Renewals Programs to design, implement, lead, and assess sales programs that support the initiatives of the Customer Success Group's (CSG) Renewals Organization. These programs serve as essential instruments for driving revenue growth.

This leadership position encompasses all facets of program management, from inception and prioritization to execution, partnership development, performance analysis, organizational transformation, and evaluation of program outcomes. A pivotal part of this role involves conducting business analysis and generating Salesforce reports, while fostering collaboration across various teams to propel our sales strategy forward.

As a data-driven leader, you will assess business scenarios, streamline efficiency initiatives, design effective processes, and deliver actionable insights. Key deliverables include sales strategies, identifying focal areas, proposing sales programs, conducting detailed performance analyses, documenting processes, and creating reporting dashboards that culminate in presentation-ready content for senior leadership at Salesforce.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with Renewals Leaders to enhance the pipeline and Annual Contract Value (ACV) for Renewals Plan Programs.
  • Engage with OU Sales Programs Managers to effectively scale Renewals Plan Programs across OUs.
  • Identify and suggest key strategic focus areas for global sales teams.
  • Propose, develop, prioritize, execute, and assess sales programs to drive results.
  • Lead multiple complex and strategic projects aimed at supporting revenue growth.
  • Work alongside business partners to align goals, identify challenges, and gather necessary data to inform strategy while proactively offering insightful recommendations.
  • Provide executive management with project scope, timeline, requirements, benefits, and return on investment for each initiative.
  • Clearly communicate risks, taking initiative to develop resolution strategies.
  • Represent the Renewals Plan Programs team in broader cross-functional projects involving other departments as necessary.

Experience :

  • 5-7+ years of pertinent experience, preferably in Sales Strategy, Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Strategic Finance, Consulting, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success in sales strategy or business operations related to business metrics, operations, and revenue growth.
  • A degree or equivalent relevant experience is mandatory. Experience will be assessed based on core competencies for the role (including extracurricular leadership, military service, volunteer work, and professional experience).
  • Skills :

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex problems and transition them into actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities : a proven track record of asking critical questions, organizing intricate problems, and crafting effective solutions and recommendations.
  • Skilled in creating and delivering presentations to senior executives, translating data insights into clear and impactful executive summaries.
  • A confident communicator with meticulous attention to detail across oral, written, and presentation formats.
  • A visionary thinker who can see the bigger picture, innovate, and adapt to change.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce products is preferred, or experience with similar enterprise business technology tools.
  • A proactive, results-oriented attitude with a strong team spirit.
  • A self-starter driven to exceed expectations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Note : This role is office-flexible, with an expectation to be in the office a minimum of three (3) days per week.

Salesforce believes in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic labor market across various regions. The typical base salary range for this role is $143,400 - $216,900 annually. In specific cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range is $172,200 - $236,700 annually. This range reflects base salary alone and does not encompass bonuses, sales incentives, equity, or benefits where applicable.
