Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and private equity sponsors in a fast growing, multi unit restaurant platform. This role is responsible for leading all financial strategy, reporting, and execution while supporting value creation initiatives across operations, development, and M&A. The CFO will bring institutional rigor, strong business judgment, and the ability to operate in a high accountability, performance driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long range modeling for the platform
- Own unit level economics, margin improvement initiatives, and enterprise level profitability
- Partner closely with operations to drive labor optimization, food cost control, and overhead discipline
- Oversee accounting, controllership, tax, treasury, and internal controls to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to private equity sponsors and board members
- Lead cash flow management, liquidity planning, and lender relationships
- Support M&A activity including financial diligence, integration planning, and post acquisition performance tracking
- Build scalable financial infrastructure to support rapid growth, new unit development, and acquisitions
- Evaluate and implement technology systems to improve reporting, visibility, and decision making
- Lead and develop a high performing finance and accounting team
Qualifications
Experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within a multi unit restaurant or consumer facing businessPrior experience working in a private equity backed environment strongly preferredDeep understanding of restaurant unit economics, P&L management, and field operationsProven track record of partnering with operations to drive measurable financial improvementsExperience supporting M&A, integrations, and growth initiativesStrong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with boards, investors, and lendersBachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferredWhat Success Looks Like
