Overview PSCI is seeking a Data Engineer for hybrid work at our client in Camden NJ. This is a 3-6 month contract
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence-related role
Experience in analytical or data visualization tools
Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, data governance, structured and unstructured data required
Project Management experience, specifically in identifying business requirements, building project plans, and partnering with stakeholders
Map business requirements, processes, and objectives and develop necessary product modifications.
Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions
Experience with SAP ECC and SAP Analytics Cloud (for reporting) preferred
Experience in working with any of the Data Processing Platforms like Dataflow, Databricks, HDFS (Spark, Scala / PySpark), hive, Impala etc.
Fluent with SQL and other data querying languages
Familiar with all the phases of testing, data validation and data reconciliation
Experience in Finance and supporting Finance data reporting initiatives is a plus

Datasphere is being used as back end for loading SAP ECC tables. IT will be responsible for loading this and sourcing it as part of initial relational datasets and then we will have to pick it up and make it useful. This would be a plus

Duration: 3-6 month contract and a hybrid position (2/3 days onsite) based out
