[job_card.job_description]Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the Massachusetts State regulations - required Good judgment and decision making. Communication skills including the ability to communicate with residents, families and team members. Patience, tact, and a willingness to take direction and to work as a team member Solid Track Record of Promoting Team Members from Within Tuition Reimbursement 3 weeks of Vacation + Sick Time & Floating Holidays Employee Assistance Programs Professional Development Access to Fitness Center and Pool Free Lunch Daily on Campus Plenty of Free Parking Shift Differentials dependent upon shift worked
PRINCIPLE DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Communicate a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for residents.
- Understand how to place decision-making in the hands of the residents whenever possible and appropriate.
- Make prompt and accurate judgments with regard to resident care and emergencies.
- Assist residents with ADLs (activities of daily living) for which they need assistance, such as bathing, combing hair, brushing teeth, shaving, dressing, ambulation, and toileting and laundry.
- Follow all infection control policies.
