We are seeking a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) to join our team in the hospital medicine department (HM) at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan.

TeamHealth is willing to train new graduates for the position and you are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in a hospitalist setting is a plus. Advanced practice clinician candidates will be required to have current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details :

• Hospitalist position will be a round and go model, working roughly 6-8 hours a day on day shift. Once you have seen all of your patients for the day, you will be able to leave the hospital
• Clinicians will work roughly a total of 20 shifts a month to include every other weekend
• Responsibilities include - initial admissions, rounding on patients, follow-up and discharge of patients
• Clinician will have on-call responsibilities due to the round and go model
