Our client is a growing organization needing an immediate expert to manage an intense daily workflow. This is a crucial role where your efficiency and accuracy will directly impact operations. This contract is ideal for a focused professional looking to leverage their specific high-volume AP and NetSuite skills.

Key Role Details

  • Role : Accounts Payable Specialist
  • Duration : 2-Month Contract
  • Location : On-site in Miami, FL (Specific address provided upon interview)
  • Schedule : Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • Pay Rate : Highly Competitive - Up to $24.00 per hour

NetSuite Expert : Hands-on, recent experience using the NetSuite ERP system for Accounts Payable functions.

High-Volume Processor : Proven ability to consistently process a high volume of transactions, ideally around 100 invoices per day.

Core Responsibilities

  • Accurately process high volumes of vendor invoices into NetSuite.
  • Perform all necessary GL coding for expenses.
  • Crucial Scope Note : This role is strictly for invoice entry and processing; no 2-way or 3-way matching is required.
  • Review invoices for proper authorization and documentation.
  • Maintain vendor files and address basic vendor inquiries efficiently.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures specific to AP transactions.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities :

  • High-Volume Invoice Processing : Accurately and efficiently process approximately 100 vendor invoices daily into the NetSuite ERP system. This is an invoice-only role; no purchase order (PO) matching is required.
  • NetSuite Data Entry : Perform all AP functions directly within NetSuite , ensuring strict adherence to company policies and standardized workflows for timely payment authorization.
  • Coding and Data Integrity : Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to entry. Ensure accurate general ledger (GL) coding and proper data entry to maintain financial record integrity.
  • Vendor Management : Assist with organizing and maintaining digital vendor files, including updating vendor records, payment terms, and necessary compliance documentation.
  • Issue Resolution : Research and resolve discrepancies, invoice issues, or payment status inquiries from internal teams or external vendors in a professional and timely manner.
  • Period End Support : Assist the accounting team with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable, including running necessary reports and ensuring all transactions are recorded by deadlines.
  • Process Improvement : Identify and recommend opportunities for process streamlining and efficiency gains within the high-volume invoice processing workflow.
  • Compliance : Ensure all transactions and processes comply with internal financial controls and company policies.
