Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Prototype Manufacturing Technician to join our advanced manufacturing team. This role bridges hands-on fabrication with early-stage process development, supporting rapid prototyping and initial builds of aircraft components. You will work closely with design engineers to create fixtures, assemble prototype parts, and provide feedback to improve manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble prototype parts and components following work instructions.
• Fabricate fixtures and tooling to support manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Operate common hand tools and maintain a safe, organized workshop environment.
• Support development of small-scale manufacturing setups for new designs.
• Occasionally assist with automation and robotics integration for prototype builds.

This is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 / hr.
