Our Phoenix-based startup client is seeking a Full Stack Python Engineer to join their growing core software engineering team. This full-time, on-site role (4 days in office, WFH Wednesdays) supports the buildout of modern, high-performance applications using Python / FastAPI and React. You’ll work on innovative products powered by automation and data-driven technology, contributing to a platform that streamlines complex workflows across multiple industries.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a startup environment and enjoys developing new products from the ground up. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced technical founders and a small, high-caliber team to design, build, and deploy new software solutions—balancing autonomy, impact, and rapid growth as the company continues to scale after its Series A funding round.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)
- Front-end experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and database design
- Familiarity with on-prem or VM-based deployments
- Experience working in startup or small-team environments
